I read the report you wrote about the book, and enclose it back with a few small notes in the margin.
It is very important to know when the book was published, because it was not stated on the cover page and not at the end of the report. It has a great significance for understanding
China and India's involvement in the MES – since it lacks reference to China's Belt and Road Initiative. If the author does not mention it – due to the book's publication date - you should at least address it in your own comment!
The argument about the geographical proximity: might have been good to add a big map with the distances marking, this is a weighty geo-strategic argument!
Also, will you summarize to what extent the book contributes to your own research, if any?
