Dear Yossi,

here is the latest version of the paper for your comments.
I have addressed your suggestions, including the version of the book (it was published in 2010, and this is the second edition from 2012 with a revised Preface).
I have also added a couple of maps and a reference to Belt and Road Initiative, which didn't exist at the time the book was published.
Finally, I have added a few words as personal notes with regards to the significance toward my final Mabal paper.

It was nice to see and hear from you and the class today! Hope to see you all soon enough.

Stay safe!

Davide

Dear Davide,

I read the report you wrote about the book, and enclose it back with a few small notes in the margin.

It is very important to know when the book was published, because it was not stated on the cover page and not at the end of the report. It has a great significance for understanding China and India's involvement in the MES – since it lacks reference to China's Belt and Road Initiative. If the author does not mention it – due to the book's publication date - you should at least address it in your own comment!

The argument about the geographical proximity:  might have been good  to add a big map with the distances marking, this is a weighty geo-strategic argument!

Also, will you summarize to what extent the book contributes to your own research, if any?

All the very best for you and your family,

good

Dear Yossi,

Please find attached my paper with the review of the book that professor Hasson assigned me to read. It was an extremely interesting read!

Let me know if you want me to do more assignments, I am still quarantined at home and time is not a scarce commodity.

Stay safe!
